Day 16

G'day,  another quick trip to bunnings today for a 31c retic clamp only to come out with $41 worth of stuff!

We got two potato bags, Potato E, Tom got an Aloe Vera... Brandon couldn't make a choice so left without a plant... sometimes it is all just too much!  and some sticky traps that will hopefully catch the crickets that are causing us problems!
The new Potato bags with some Royal Blue potatoes in... they were trying to grow in the bag so since there is such a limited amount and variety of seed potatoes these came from our eating supply!  I also bought a few Kipflers from the supermarket... no shoots but hopefully they will grow some... since they are so expensive compared to other varieties I really am keeping my fingers crossed!

I popped the horseradish into a pot today too so now we have a waiting game to see if it grows :-)

The Ceylon Spinach which seems to be the favourite food of Brandon, Thomas, Balla Balla and the 500000000 crickets we have got moved from where it was being devoured by dog and crickets to a spot where we have yet to see any beans... I placed a Yellow Sticky trap right there too... We will see tomorrow if it gets any crickets!

The boys were at the tree house most of the afternoon so you didn't get a Brandon tour today but I did get to yell out the window as Mr B digs through the potato bags to see what is in there!

Have a good day, *hugs* Sarah
