Day 87... a beautiful Sunday.

We have been busy in the garden again :-)  A quick trip to Bunnings for some mulch to top up my ever growing spuds! A frame for my raspberries to grow up.

Once home... potatoes were hilled AGAIN... they could still use more!  We separated the green and purple globe artichokes and got 6 and 4 respectively... planted them out the front where they will get some sunshine and look lovely with their structural foliage.

We also planted a pot each of green and purple asparagus... it is going to be a very long 3 years before harvest!

I also took the time to take stock today... in less than three months we have come a long way!

Fruit plants:
Strawberries - lots.
Sublime - in flower but still has yellow leaves.
Dwarf Eureka Lemon - in the front.
Finger Lime - in a pot because it will get to 4 metres+.
Dwarf Cherry tree - the buds look ready to announce spring soon!
Red Passionfruit and Yellow Passionfruit  - either side of the archway.
Cape Gooseberry.
Raspberries - in pots!
Blackberries - in pots and growing :-).
Grapes - maybe... waiting to see if the cuttings worked.
Pineapple - maybe... seeing if it grows.

Herbs and flavourings:
Bay leaf tree - potted.
Curry leaf trees.
Basil - still slow and steady!
Mints - Chocolate (yum), Pepper, Common, Basil.
Coriander - lots!
Parsley - curly.
Thyme - common and lemon.
Lemon Balm.
Oregano.
Sage.
Horseradish.
Lemongrass.
Chives.
Garlic.

Veges:
Cabbages - sugar loaf.
Lettuces - all sorts ;-)
Beans - Lazy Housewife, 3 colour mix - flowering and in production.
Peas - greenfeast + another sort - in production.
Artichoke - globe Green 6 and Purple 4.
Asparagus - Green and Purple.
Carrots - purple & rainbow.
Beetroot - rainbow mix.
Tomatoes - Grandpop's Super Tom.
Broad beans - flowering but no pods yet.
Nasturtiums.
Mizuna.
Rainbow Chard and Silverbeet.
Potatoes - Delaware, Royal Blue, Kipfler (just sprouted).
Zucchini's.
Onions - California Red and Hunter Valley.
Ceylon Spinach / Malabar Red.
Birdseye chilli.

Edible flowers:
Nasturtiums.
Pansy.
Native Violets.
Lavender.

We have heaps of seeds to sow and we will have to figure out where to find room for the plants... Watermelon seems to be the boys favourite to sow, bush beans, climbing beans, multicolour capsicums (sweet peppers), heirloom tomatoes, 4 types of basil to name but a few and lots of chilli's for Chris.

So this is where we are nearly 3 months in...
*hugs*
Sarah.
